Witzzle Puzzle Activity Book

# 112

Witzzle TM Puzzle
To Play: Choose one set of three numbers in a straight line (diagonally, across or up/down) from the WITZZLE square to form an equation in each row. In the equation, blocks are for numbers; and underlines for operation symbols, including ( ), +, –, x, and ÷. Use each number only once in every calculation.

Scoring: The sum of the three numbers used stands for the score. To get the largest score, use the largest number set when possible. Get 5 bonus points if large to small (left to right) number pattern is used. Add the score of each set to get the total points.

Note: You may NOT use negative numbers in your calculations. Operation symbols must be between two numbers.

Example of an unacceptable answer:

  – 9 + 5 x 4 = 11
